Compassionate End-of-Life Support by Quietus

Quietus, led by Marci “Juju” Munden, offers compassionate guidance and support to individuals and families navigating the end-of-life journey, honoring dignity, comfort, and emotional peace.

Greetings,

Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Marci Munden, and I am an End-of-Life Doula. You may be wondering what that is? I’d like to share a little bit about me and my journey to being who I am today.

For the last 16 years I have worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse. I’ve worked in many different capacities, from hospital to hospice and pediatrics to post-op care. I’m also experienced in home health, which is what I do currently.

I am NEDA (National End-of-life Doula Alliance) proficient and have also received my competency badge from EOLPC.org (End of Life Psychedelic Care).

With my experience in the field of health care, the one constant is being there when people and families face the reality that death is coming. I was disappointed in both allopathic and some alternative medicines in how they handle these moments.

Something was lacking in the process, not enough support for the families, nor for the person about to undergo a huge transition. Let’s face it, not since their birth have they had to face something this big by themselves.

After my work experience and the knowledge gained through my studies, I am confident that I possess the tools needed to assist you and your loved ones through what can be a deeply meaningful time.

I have been educated in many diverse types of spiritual endeavors and welcome your vision of your very personal and unique wishes for the next phase.

The first time I sat with a human in the throes of death was so profound, it changed me. As the years passed and I was doing my own psychological and spiritual deep dive I realized how sacred death was. Not just the one time happening but all that led to it, all of the little deaths we experience in life.

I attended a lecture by Dr. Christopher Kerr where he made the statement, “if there is light within the experience of dying, it’s in the experience, not the observing.”

I disagree; I have found deep significance in sitting with a person that is dying. I have felt my own light increase through the holding of space for another in that profoundly intimate time. To witness the acceptance and grace people exhibit at that time is deeply moving and life altering.

Sitting with my own mother was the event that made me want to pursue a career as an End-of-Life Doula. With my assistance and in union with her own heart and soul, we were able to “clear the path” for her smooth transition.

It was my honor to hold her hand and support her through her transition from this physical world into her next adventure. It was an experience so profound, I knew I had to share it with others in need of my service.

It is my hope that you will contact me, ask me questions you may have, perhaps allow me to help you create a plan and assist you and your loved ones on their journey to what comes next.
